This version includes module suggest, module and workflow runtime estimate features, ranked search on server library, tabbed view of server and personal libraries, easier connection creation modes, edit workflow in plain text/XML view, and grid memory usage information. Interface and other smaller improvements such as line numbers on data modules, detection of external change of workflow files, better module group name layout on top of canvas, sending workflow by email on Mac OS are also in this version. Continue reading...(February 10, 2012) Distributed Pipeline Server (DPS) installer version 2.0 beta is available for download. This version includes a number of new capabilities, including the option to install DTK, ITK, and GAMMA as neuroimaging tools, a new panel for installing the bioinformatics tools that are currently included in the Pipeline library on cranium, and preliminary changes aimed at updating Sun's old gridengine to Son of Grid Engine. DPS is a user-friendly, integrated GUI installer that lets you install and configure the Pipeline server as well as Grid Engine and computational imaging and informatics software tools.
